What are Smartcards?

Smartcards are personalised I.D cards that automatically register delegates and link them to their voting responses.

 

How do Smartcards work?

Every delegate is issued with a personal Smartcard that is pre-programmed with their identification details.

Delegates simply insert their personal Smartcard into the Communicator and the system will automatically identify their responses.

What are the benefits?

The only secure option for identifying and tracking delegates' responses, Identified Smartcards are proven 100% accurate and reliable.

2. Weighted Voting

An efficient solution to legal voting, personalised Smartcards can be pre-programmed with delegates' voting rights, enabling them to automatically cast votes based on their weighting or the number of shares held.

A full audit trail of identified voting activity is made instantly available, enabling the entire process to undergo detailed scrutiny.

3. Automated registration

Smartcards can be used to automate the entire registration process, eliminating lengthy queues and high levels of administration.

Delegates simply scan the bar code on their Smartcard and the system automatically registers them and stores the data, allowing you to instantly see who has attended and what time they arrived.

4. Unidentified demographic tracking

Guaranteed to provide reliable demographic data, unidentified Smartcards track individual demographic responses, allowing full and accurate demographic profiles to be established.

Unidentified Smartcards are transferable between keypads, enabling delegates to leave the session and pick up any handset on their return. Once the Smartcard is re-inserted, their demographic answer profile is instantly re-established.

On-site programming

In the event that amendments need to be made or unexpected delegates arrive, Smartcards can be programmed on-site within seconds.

Detailed reports tracking delegate voting can be printed on-site immediately.
