What is Message Manager?

A revolutionary new way of communicating at conference, Message Manager Software allows text messages to be sent to and from the Communicator, enabling your audience to submit responses using their own words.

Efficient, fast and extremely easy-to-use, Message Manager offers you endless opportunities to involve and engage your audience.

How does it work?

Message Manager offers two separate functions: Function one allows delegates to send messages from the Communicator, whilst function two enables you to send messages to the Communicator.

Function 1: 'Messages in…The Text function'

Similar to the text function on a mobile phone, delegates simply type multiple messages into the Communicator keypad and press send.

Messages are immediately received by a control laptop, where they are quickly reviewed, filtered and prioritised before they are displayed live to your audience.

Benefits:

Using up to 127 characters of text, delegates can text in as many questions and comments as they choose.

No longer are you restricted to a limited choice of question formats. Delegates can now respond to both pre-prescribed and ‘open’ question formats.

Feedback is in real time allowing important issues to be dealt with immediately.

The function carries no time restraints and can be enabled for as long as you need it. For example, it could be used in response to a question with a short time limit or you may choose to use it during a brainstorming session or coffee break.

You decide which comments will be displayed live to your audience, allowing you greater control over the direction of your meeting.

The text function allows everyone the equal opportunity to have their say, encouraging participation from delegates who might normally be reluctant to speak aloud at conference.

Text responses can be submitted anonymously. This allows delegates the opportunity to express their true opinions and increases the quality of your feedback data.

Alternatively, Smartcard technology can be used to identify delegates individually or by team number.

Access to the text function can be controlled by restricting the use to only those issued with Smartcards.

Measure changes in perception and opinions by comparing delegate responses to the same question asked before and after a presentation.

All feedback is stored to a database for post-event analysis.

Function 2: ‘Messages out...’

Send messages to the Communicator using up to 127 characters of text. A message can be sent to all keypads, to a specific group of keypads or to an individual’s keypad.

Benefits

  • Text can easily be changed and re-sent, allowing you to send unlimited messages to the keypad screen.
  • Text delegates additional information throughout PowerPoint® presentations, ensuring all subjects are comprehensively explained.
  • Organise delegates and increase efficiency at your event by sending instructions on where to go to the keypad screen.
  • Highlight event sponsors.
  • Reinforce sponsorship and branding messages.
  • Introduce the theme of your conference and convey important messages.
