Audience participation is an incredibly important aspect of any
successful event. However this can become tricky to manage
and to encourage when an audience grows past a certain size, this
is where an audience response system comes in very useful.
Audience response systems aid audience participation by allowing
audience members to use a handheld device – whether a wireless
keypad or a wireless handset microphone – to communicate with the
presenter and fellow audience members.
This communication can come in various shapes and forms.
Interactive voting systems are one example of how an audience can
communicate its opinion to the host of the event. Interactive
voting systems are used when audience members need to vote on a
particular issue while maintaining anonymity whilst making it easy
to administrate the voting process.
The latest technology is making audience participation ever
easier and there is no longer any reason why an audience should be
out of touch with the presenter/speaker.
